Responsibilities

As a talent development strategist, Amanda leads the training strategy for supermarket associates in partnership with the Talent Development and line of business teams, to support business needs,
vision and culture. She also manages the annual supermarket training budget.

Experience

Amanda joined Kroger in 2011 as an assistant store manager in the Atlanta division. She was promoted to store manager in 2016 and a high volume store leader in 2018. She joined the Kroger General
Office team in 2020 as a training design and execution project manager, where she was responsible for training project execution and collaboration with business partners.

Recognition

Amanda is a 2023 Progressive Grocer Top Women in Grocery honoree, and she was recently nominated by her peers for the HR S.T.A.R. award, in which the HR community recognizes each other
for your work to support our associates. Previously, she was a member of the Kroger Leadership Academy graduate in 2018 and a Nashville Top Potential Millennials in 2014.

Education

Amanda earned a bachelor’s degree in retail management from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN.

Personal

Amanda lives with her husband, Nick, in Cincinnati. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with family.
