Nicholas Bertram is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Flashfood, an app-based marketplace that strives to eliminate retail food waste by connecting consumers with discounted food nearing its best-by date. His most recent role was President of The GIANT Company, part of Ahold Delhaize. Nicholas’ mission is to solve the problems of food waste and affordability, which he now proudly works with Flashfoodies and their progressive Retail Partners to solve. Flashfood is one of Fast Company's 2023 Most Innovative Companies, and just getting started. In addition to leading Flashfood, he serves on the boards of PECO, Clemens Food Group, Divert, and is Chairman of the Pennsylvania Chamber.. He and his wife live in Pennsylvania with their five young sons.
