Susan has been a driving force in the retail grocery industry for nearly 40 years. Since January 2018, she has served as Albertsons Companies’ Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, leading the company's retail operations, and overseeing more than 2,200 stores across 34 states. Her extensive experience includes roles such as Executive Vice President of Regional Operations and Division President in two markets, as well as various positions in merchandising and operations. She believes in inspiring excellence through pride, passion, and ownership while exemplifying the company values in everything she does.

Susan's journey in retail began in high school as a customer service clerk at Albertsons in Denver, Colorado. Her dedication and leadership have earned her numerous accolades, including the Top Women in Grocery and Trailblazer Award from Progressive Grocer. Locally, she was named a CEO of Influence in 2014 and was honored as a Tribute to Women in Industry (Idaho).

In addition to her professional achievements, Susan is deeply committed to community and industry service. She is the executive sponsor for the Albertsons Companies Pride Alliance and serves as Board Chair for the Albertsons Companies Foundation. She also holds board positions with the Food Marketing Institute and the San Francisco District 12 Federal Reserve Bank.

A graduate of Colorado State University, Susan continues to inspire and lead with a vision for excellence and innovation in the grocery industry.
