Responsibilities
In her current role, Senchal works with our Chief People Officer, Sr. Officer Team and HR Business Partners to develop and enhance business led tools & solutions that accelerate the associate experience including Onboarding, Training, Leadership Development, Performance, Succession & Retention.
Experience
Senchal began her career with Kroger in 2006 as a management trainee in the Columbus Division and held multiple leadership positions throughout the Columbus Division, including store manager, district HR coordinator, HR recruiting/training manager and talent manager. In 2017 she was named the division HR leader for the Mid-Atlantic Division and in early 2020 she was promoted as the director of learning and development at our General Office. In late 2020 she was promoted to her current role where she assumed additional responsibilities in leadership development, performance and succession.
Recognition
In 2016 and 2023, Senchal was a recipient of Progressive Grocers Top Women in Grocery Rising Star & Senior Level Executive Award. Additionally, Senchal’s team has been recognized with 11 Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards.
Senchal has served as an executive board member for the Susan G. Komen organization, participated in Leadership Cincinnati, a regional executive development program and is a long-term advocate & supporter for various company ARGs.
Education
Senchal graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management & Marketing from Otterbein College and successfully completed Kroger’s High-Volume Store Leadership program.
