James has over 20 years of facility management experience with the Department of Defense, where he led teams and projects in planning, construction, renovation, demolition, facility operations, environmental compliance and conservation, and maintenance at local, regional, and global levels. He now serves on the Walmart Facilities Services team, overseeing equipment fleets across 5,256 Walmart and Sam’s Club locations in the US—including floor cleaning equipment, food service equipment, power lifting equipment, vertical transportation equipment, balers, compactors, paint equipment, and pneumatic tube systems. James manages annual equipment replacement budgets exceeding $250 million. He holds two master’s degrees, in Mechanical Engineering and Business, and is a licensed Mechanical Engineer in two states.
