Marisa Perez, a 20-year veteran of PepsiCo, currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Digital Commerce for PepsiCo. In this role she is responsible for all of PepsiCo sales online and supports all omni-channel sales, ensuring integration across in-store and online where appropriate. Marisa works closely with retail partners and technology companies to incubate and test new capabilities that keep PepsiCo on the forefront of the Digital Commerce.
Previously, Marisa was the Senior Vice President of Growth Acceleration for PepsiCo Foods North America (PFNA) the $26 billion snack and convenient foods business that includes Frito-Lay North America (FLNA) and Quaker Foods North America (QFNA). In this role she oversaw the integration of portfolio strategy to operational priorities, linking long-term sustainable growth territories to specific in-year initiatives and projects. Her diverse experience across PepsiCo also included time as Region Vice President of the largest region for Frito-Lay where she led a team of over 5,000 employees across the DSD system which delivered over $2.7B in sales for the company. Marisa has held various leadership positions in sales and marketing across Pepsi, Frito-Lay and PepsiCo. After leading multi-cultural marketing for Pepsi Beverages Company, Marisa transitioned to Frito-Lay where she led the billion-dollar Tostitos brand and returned the brand to growth. While leading Shopper Marketing for Walmart. Inc, Marisa and the team were recognized as Grocery Supplier of the Year and she received a Chairman’s Award for Marketing Excellence.
In 2018, Marisa was recognized by ALPFA as the #1 Rising Star as part of the Top 50 Most Powerful Latinas. In 2023 she was added to the Board of Visitors, a non-fiduciary advisory board, for MD Anderson, the #1 cancer hospital and research center in the United States.
Marisa is a graduate of UCLA and the USC Food Industry Management Executive Program. She is Cuban-American and recently moved from TX back to her home state of CA. Marisa is a widow who lost her husband of 20 years, Dan Perez, to a rare and aggressive form of prostate cancer. Marisa and Dan have 3 children: Bryce, Samantha & Antonio.
