Kelly Sosa is the President of Conventional Product Sales for UNFI, North America’s Premier Food Wholesaler. UNFI serves around 30,000 retail store fronts across North America through 53 distribution centers and approximately 28,000 associates, with the Conventional Products network encompassing 22 distribution centers and servicing more than 10,000 rooftops. In addition, UNFI has a private brands business, a digital and professional services business, data and insights, and full-service merchandising capabilities. Kelly leads the Conventional Grocery Sales team with accountability to support customers with UNFI’s full portfolio of comprehensive products and services.

Kelly has nearly 25 years of extensive experience in operations, supply chain management, customer experience, business development, and overall P&L management. Since joining UNFI in 2023, Kelly has served as President, Atlantic Region and President, East Region. Prior to joining UNFI, Sosa spent 15 years with C&S Wholesale Grocers where she most recently served as senior vice president and general manager, commercial, with responsibility for large-scale commercial account management, business development, sales growth, customer service, and operations. Sosa also spent five years at American Express Company as director of business planning and director of global merchant experience.
Sosa completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University where she received a bachelor’s degree in history and minored in African American studies. She is a certified executive coach by the BeamPines & The Professional Development Foundation, Six Sigma (Greenbelt 2), and received certifications in Supply Chain Management (MIT), Finance for Executives (Chicago Booth), Net Promoter Score Associate (Satmetrix), and Corporate Finance and Cash Flow (Columbia University). She was named to The Griffin Report’s Top 40 Under 40 list in 2014, Top Women in Grocery, Senior Executive Level, by Progressive Grocer in 2018, and Top 50 Women Leaders of Rhode Island in 2023, 2024, and 2025 by Women We Admire.
