Matthew has spent more than a decade leading technological innovation across the food system to reduce waste and expand access to fresh fruits and vegetables. As Chief Revenue Officer at Verdant Technologies, an award-winning agtech company, he leads the go-to-market strategy for HarvestHold Fresh, a breakthrough postharvest solution. Verdant partners with growers, retailers, and foodservice distributors to reimagine the fresh produce supply chain.

Matthew lives on a small vegetable farm in North Carolina with his wife, two children, and their dog. An active member of his community, Matthew serves on the board of a local K-12 charter school. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the University of California, Santa Barbara.
