GROCERY IMPACT GENERAL FAQS

Grocery Impact is where grocery leaders will meet to exchange ideas, celebrate success and build relationships. Grocery Impact will bring together the disruptors, innovators, pacesetters and leaders in grocery – present and future – for three days of education, collaboration, networking and celebration. We have reimagined our annual event to be bigger and better than ever, with an amazing and massive roster of incredible, must-attend sessions and activities! Grocery Impact is an evolution of 2022’s successful Grocery Industry Week. 

Grocery Impact will bring together the disruptors, innovators, pacesetters and leaders in grocery - present and future.
 

You must be a qualified grocery retail executive, a GenNext Honoree, Top Women in Grocery Honoree or Grocery Impact Sponsor to attend.

Grocery Impact begins around noon on Nov. 7, 2023, and ends after 10 p.m. on Nov. 9.

We have three packages available: 

  • Get Inspired: Includes Sessions and Functions on Tuesday and Wednesday
  • Get Engaged: Includes Sessions and Functions on Wednesday and Thursday*
  • Get It All: Includes Sessions and Functions on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday*

*Thursday’s Top Women in Grocery Gala is a separately ticketed event

Of course! The event is presented by the voice of the retail food industry since 1922, Progressive Grocer.

Although there may be portions of the event that will be recorded, the only way to enjoy Grocery Impact or the Top Women in Grocery Gala is to attend live. 

You can log in to your existing registration and make any needed changes here. If you do not remember your password, simply hit “Don't know your password? Click here to reset it,” and follow the instructions in the email. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder. 

If you need to cancel your attendance at Grocery Impact or the Top Women in Grocery Gala, please send a written notice to pgevents@ensembleiq.com by Oct. 12, 2023. Cancellations are subject to a $50 administration fee. Registrations received after Oct. 12, 2023, are non-refundable.

Grocery Impact and the Top Women in Grocery Gala are open to anyone 18 years and older with purchase of a ticket package. Orlando has many amazing activities; you can explore them here.

Absolutely beautiful! Well, it will be if our Show Director Marci can work any weather magic. The average temperature in Orlando in November is a high of 78F and low of 59F. We recommend checking your favorite weather site prior to packing for the trip. 

We love pets however only licensed service animals are welcome inside the Grocery Impact event area. 

The Hyatt Grand Cypress welcomes pets and their nature trails make an amazing place to walk them. Please visit their website to learn additional details and applicable fees.

TOP WOMEN IN GROCERY SPECIFIC FAQS

Congratulations on being an honoree! We can’t wait to celebrate with you in Orlando. As an honoree, you will receive:

  • Complimentary entry to the Top Women in Grocery Gala including the Pre-Gala Cocktail Reception and Hershey Dessert Party

In order to receive your award onsite at the Top Women in Gala, you must register for the event by Oct. 1, 2023. We encourage you to register and book your travel and hotel early as hotel rooms at the discounted rate are limited. You are able to register to attend the event through Nov. 1 but may receive your award in the mail. 

Of course! Please check your email for the code to use to register guests for the Top Women in Grocery Gala. Guest tickets are $399 and each guest must be registered separately. 

We know many of our attendees want to celebrate with their spouses, family members and friends; however, this event is appropriate for individuals age 18 or older. There are several reputable child care services available in the Orlando area. 

The Top Women in Grocery Gala takes place at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando on Thursday, Nov. 9. Activities begin with a Cocktail Reception at 6 p.m., with the Gala Dinner beginning at 7 p.m. and followed by our EPIC Hershey Dessert After Party. View photos from last year!

Our legendary TWIG Leadership Development Program focusing on women leadership in grocery has been expanded and is happening across the Grocery Impact agenda. However, most of the sessions that spotlight Top Women in Grocery will happen from 1 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday Nov. 8, 2023, and on Thursday Nov. 9, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m

Dress code is formal cocktail reception attire. While formal attire is not required, most attendees wear cocktail dresses, pantsuits and skirts, as well as gowns. The evening is all about celebrating you! Wear whatever you want to celebrate in during our amazing evening events! We will have photo ops on our "red carpet."

If you are attending the Top Women in Grocery Gala (We hope you can!), you will receive the award on stage during the Gala. If you are unable to attend the Gala in person, please be sure to fill out the form here so that we can mail you your award. Awards will be mailed out in November 2023. 

If you have not submitted your address by Feb. 15, 2024, you will receive a certificate via email in lieu of a physical award.
