Taylor Henwood serves as the Vice President of Professional Events on the executive board for the Food Marketing Association at Western Michigan University. A driven student leader pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Food Marketing with minors in Business Analytics and General Business, Taylor maintains a 3.9 GPA on the Dean’s List, combining top academic achievement with hands-on experience driving real-world retail strategy across the CPG and food marketing industries.
Taylor’s professional background spans sales strategy, data analytics, and brand marketing. As a Retail Sales intern at Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling last summer, Taylor gained hands-on experience in merchandising and product resets, leveraged deep data analysis to redesign category planograms, and completed the company’s signature Elite Selling course. Based on data-driven insights, Taylor pitched a new category reset directly to a store president, earning full approval to implement the redesign in-store.
Previously, as a marketing intern at Jogue Inc., Taylor developed client-facing presentations, authored industry vlog content, and gained valuable industry exposure at the IFT FIRST expo in Chicago. In addition to serving as Vice President of Professional Events and Social Manager for the Food Marketing Association and contributing to major events like the Food Marketing Conference, Taylor previously served as Vice President of Pledge Education for Delta Sigma Pi. Taylor has also gained a broad perspective through study abroad coursework in Ireland and participation in the Food Marketing Industry Tours, visiting over 36 food marketing companies in the span of two weeks
